I'm Yi-Chen Lin (YC) — an Electrical Engineering student at UBC, living between Vancouver and Taiwan. I'm the kind of person where 理性 and 浪漫 live side by side: I use engineering thinking to make things solid, and I keep the romance in the details. I build, I make music, I read, I write, and I'm always learning something new.
What I care about most: making work that feels warm, human, and "not like AI" — even when AI is doing half the work. Ideas are easy; building is where the magic happens.

I'm turning who I am into a personal brand. YC isn't a mascot — it's me as a character: a real young person exploring the world, building things, making music, and always learning. It lives across three repos:

- 🗂️ Browser Organizer — A calm, local-first Chrome new-tab dashboard: favorites, a daily focus planner, and a live view of all your open tabs. 把每个新标签页变成一个安静的本地工作台。
