docs(monitoring): correct self-host monitor accuracy + note unwired boot()#217
Merged
Conversation
…oot() Same accuracy fix as crw-saas: the `monitor` Cargo feature is experimental, unwired scaffolding (boot() never called, no HTTP/CLI surface, email stub) — not a turnkey self-host scheduler. Reword the monitoring doc and tighten the subtitle to 'self-hostable change detection'. Add a ponytail note on monitor::boot() so it doesn't read as live code. Refs #142

Companion to us/crw-saas monitor-docs PR. Closes #142 (engine half).
Same accuracy fix: the
monitorCargo feature is experimental, unwired scaffolding (boot()never called, no HTTP/CLI surface, email is anEmailStub) — not a turnkey self-host scheduler. Rewordeddocs/docs/monitoring.mdand tightened the subtitle from 'a self-hostable alternative to /monitor' to 'self-hostable change detection'. Added aponytail:note onmonitor::boot()so it doesn't read as live code.No behavior change — docs + one comment. Decision 2 (two orchestrators): documented as intentional (diff is already single-sourced in
crw_diff; the schedulers serve different runtimes).
