retroarch-thumbnails

Thumbnails for RetroArch.

Project

I was dissatisfied with the default RetroArch thumbnails, so I’ve been working on and off for the past few years to improve them. I limited myself to official US releases, but that still meant thousands of thumbnails (5,882, currently).

I created templates for each system, remasked the key art and logos, cleaned up dust and scratches, and generally tried to make them more consistent in the context of RetroArch’s UI. In short, these aren’t strict preservations, but (loving) recreations designed to look nice on a screen. Names are based on the latest No-Intro and REDUMP databases, so they should be easy to use. Screenshots and title screens are included as well, if you’d also like to display those.

I made this for me! Hopefully someone else finds it useful.
