New sample: Document Approval with Escalation

Adds a Power Automate prompt that generates a document approval workflow with automatic 48-hour timeout escalation. Triggered by a new SharePoint upload, the flow looks up the designated reviewer from a mapping list, sends an approval, escalates to the department manager on timeout, then writes the final status back to SharePoint and posts to a Teams channel.

Scenario

Contract review, HR policy sign-off, procurement documents — any approval process where missed responses must auto-escalate rather than stalling the business.

Benefits

  • Timeout-and-escalate pattern not represented in existing Power Automate samples
  • Reviewer lookup from a SharePoint mapping list (no hardcoded assignees)
  • Teams notification with document name, decision, and reviewer on completion
