Any movement with this? I am hoping to use react-geomicons with React 16 but am unable to as PropTypes is not longer included as part of React. |

@jxnblk Is there anything we can do to help this get merged? We are trying to update to React 16 and this is currently blocking us. |

Also amended the .gitignore package that did not contain entries for node_modules and a few other, common ignored files and directories.
