This app was forked from Fossify Gallery project. At time of forking the latest release of Fossify Gallery was 1.13.1.
- Full-screen fit: image stretches to match screen width (landscape) or height (portrait), cropping edges as needed. Aspect ratio is maintained.
- Double-Tap Zoom: On each double tap, the zoom level increases in 25% steps until 1:1 scale is reached. Once at 1:1 scale, the next double tap resets to fully zoomed out.
- Resume Slideshow: Long-press the toolbar slideshow button to start/resume slideshow with current settings.
- Improve slideshow responsiveness with a global touch interceptor for instant interruption.
- Optimize GPU performance for high-res displays (e.g. Samsung T800) by increasing tile size and reducing DPI load.
- Implemented proper cleanup of GPU resources and transition states after slideshow completion.
- Modernize back gesture logic and resolve Glide configuration Lint warnings.
- Eliminate slideshow jitter by using GPU hardware acceleration during fading.
- Fixed "black flash" artifacts by keeping low-res previews visible during tile loading.
