Thanks for updating The Eclipse Foundation Writing Style Guide advises against language that implies ownership or control over projects or contributions (see Writing Style Guide). In practice, Eclipse projects like eclipse-adore/adore and eclipse-steady/steady list contributors factually, without asserting inventorship. For Zenoh, the original contributors are documented in the project proposal. However, since GitHub already tracks contributors via commits and pull requests, maintaining a separate
Suggestion: Remove the file entirely. If kept, use neutral wording like initial contributors based on the project proposal, in line with Eclipse conventions. |
