OSChat Application

OSChat is a real-time bidirectional chat application with 1:1 and group chat support.

• Backend: Fastify, Socket.io
• Database: SQLite with Prisma
• Authentication: Google OAuth 2.0

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• npm

Installation

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Generate Prisma client
npm db:generate

# Push database schema
npm db:push

# Run development servers
npm dev

Environment Variables

Create .env files in apps/web and apps/api:

apps/web/.env.local:

NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://localhost:3001

apps/api/.env:
