It looks like eslint-config-standard is unmaintained. In the three years since their last update, ESLint released v9 (adding flat file config) and v10 (requiring flat file config), but this config hasn't been updated to work with flag file configs. As a workaround, we've had a local copy here in the repo, but it'd be better to switch to a maintained version of this config. neostandard is "essentially standard for ESLint 9 with open governance." Fixes #658
