Troubleshooting Guide

The purpose of this wiki page is to provide a list of commonly seen issues and recommended solutions.

• Issue:

ImportError: No module named debpython

• To resolve:

apt-get --reinstall install python-minimal

apt-get --reinstall install python

If the install fails with a bad partition.

Use the discover-base workflow.

If you have not downloaded the sledgehammer image, download it using the drpcli.

drpcli bootenvs uploadiso sledgehammer

From the machines tab on the web interface apply the "discover-base" workflow. This is done by:

1. Selecting the machine(s) that you want to update
2. Select discover-base from the workflows
3. Press "+" icon to apply the workflow
4. Use your management interface on your server to reboot and boot over PXE

You can then ssh into the server.

Use parted to clean up the partitions.
