Frontend Developer · Accessible UIs · React / Next.js / Gatsby · Chicago, IL
I build interfaces that are fast, inclusive, and maintainable — comfortable across modern React ecosystems and production legacy codebases.
My background is in fine art and traditional animation, which turns out to be surprisingly good training for frontend work. Both require the same loop:
| Animation | Development |
|---|---|
| Sketches & Concepts | Wireframes & Prototypes |
| Storyboards | User Flows & Design Systems |
| Building the Scene | Developing Components |
| Test Screenings | Debugging & QA |
| Final Render | Deployment & Optimization |
Since 2021 I've been shipping production interfaces at Cleverbridge — eliminating XSS vulnerabilities, rebuilding core UI layers, and improving workflow efficiency across legacy and modern stacks. Before that, I built an e-commerce platform and art portfolio for my sister's work, which is what pulled me into web development in the first place.
I care about accessibility not as a checklist but as a craft — semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and ARIA done right from the start.
