…uoteVote#350 Implement comprehensive homepage redesign to match Zeplin specifications: - Added Platform Principles section (4 core values) - Added Community Use Cases section (6 use case cards) - Added Private Conversations section with buddy system - Preserved existing sections (Hero, Features, Product Showcase, etc.) - Updated imports to include new icons (Lock, BookOpen, Code, Smile) All sections are fully responsive and accessible. Hey @Om7035 thanks for working on this! I don't think you have access to the frontend (landing page) design yet, as I couldn't see any visible UI changes from this PR.
I also noticed there are some hardcoded CSS properties. Could you please use Tailwind classes instead to keep the styling consistent with the project?
It would also be helpful to get access to Zeplin so you can match the intended UI design. I believe @flyblackbox can help you get the necessary access if you don't already have it.
Also, please avoid using legacy icons or deprecated packages/modules. Our goal is to keep the project clean and up to date, so it's best to use the current, supported alternatives whenever possible.

@Om7035 this PR appears to overlap substantially with the newer homepage work in #431. Could you confirm whether all intended changes from this branch have been carried forward into #431, and identify any useful work here that would otherwise be lost? @flyblackbox @motirebuma, after that confirmation, this older PR could be marked as superseded and closed rather than asking contributors to maintain two competing implementations of #350. Preserving a brief closing note that points to #431 would keep the history legible without implying that the work was rejected. |
