Creating a Party

To create or join a party. Simply open the CustomNPC+ in-game or press the CNPC+ Keybind. Click the party tab on the right-hand side, then press Create a Party. Once a party is created, you can type in the Username of any player currently online.

Setting a Quest

To set a quest to your party, the quest must first have party access. To create a party quest see below "LINK PARTY OPTIONS". To figure out if a quest has valid party availability, head to your Quest Log. If the Party button appears, then the quest can be set to a party! You can also see other information about the quest for the party. 2024-03-07_15 10 01

Once enabled, you should be able to see your current party objectives in your Party Tab.

Joining a Party

If you receive an invite from a player to join a party. Your invites will be present within the Party Tab as long as you do not have a current party. Simply click the name of the party host and click accept to join their part.

Party System Options

The party system is a new feature in CustomNPC+! The party system can only be used on Quests that enable Party Options. To do so, head to your Quest and click Edit. Then within that menu click Party Options, once enabled you should see all available options. Here are the details for each of them.

Allow Partying

  • Description: Enables party functionality for a quest, allowing players to team up to complete objectives together.

Only Party

  • Description: Specifies that the quest can only be completed within a party, promoting cooperative play and teamwork.

Required By

  • Description: Determines who needs the quest for it to be set to the party.
  • Options:
    • Leader: Only the party leader needs the quest.
    • All: Everyone in the party needs the quest active.
    • Valid: Everyone in the party needs the quest active or must have completed it.

Objectives

  • Description: Specifies who needs to complete objectives within the quest.
  • Options:
    • Shared: Objectives are shared among all party members.
    • All (individual): Each party member needs to complete all objectives individually.
    • Leader: Only the party leader needs to complete objectives.

Reward

  • Description: Determines who receives the rewards upon quest completion.
  • Options:
    • Leader: Rewards are given only to the party leader.
    • All: Rewards are distributed to everyone in the party.
    • Enrolled: Rewards are given to party members who have the quest active.
    • Valid: Rewards are distributed to party members who have the quest active or have completed it.

Complete for

  • Description: Specifies who receives the completion or finished quest status.
  • Options:
    • Leader: Completion status is granted only to the party leader.
    • All: Everyone in the party receives the completion status.
    • Enrolled: Completion status is granted to party members who have the quest active.
    • Valid: Completion status is granted to party members who have the quest active or have completed it.

Execute Command for

  • Description: Determines who the command executes for within the party.
  • Options:
    • Leader: Commands execute only for the party leader.
    • All: Commands execute for everyone in the party.
    • Enrolled: Commands execute for party members who have the quest active.
    • Valid: Commands execute for party members who have the quest active or have completed it.

Min Size and Max Size

  • Description: Specifies the minimum and maximum size of the party required to undertake the quest, allowing for control over party size dynamics.
