Blogger's Hub

Blogger's Hub is a full-featured web application that allows users to create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) blog posts. Built with Node.js, Express, React, and PostgreSQL, this platform provides a seamless experience for bloggers to manage their content efficiently.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up and run the Blogger's Hub project locally.

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/your-username/bloggers-hub.git
cd bloggers-hub

2. Install Dependencies

Navigate to both the frontend and backend directories and install the necessary packages.

Backend

  • cd backend
  • npm install

Frontend

  • cd ../frontend
  • npm install

4. Run Database Migrations (Optional)

If using Sequelize migrations, run the following command to set up the database schema:

npm run migrate

5. Start the Backend Server

Navigate to the backend directory and start the server:

cd backend npm start

The backend server will start on http://localhost:5000.

  • Response: Returns a success message and JWT token upon successful registration.
