What to build

Add permission-aware behavior so restricted processes remain visible but clearly marked, with guarded actions and plain-language guidance for next steps. This slice should improve safety and reduce confusion around locked processes.

Acceptance criteria

• Permission-restricted processes remain visible and are visually distinguished.
• Restricted actions are guarded/disabled with clear user-facing explanation.
• Details view provides actionable guidance (including rerun-with-elevation guidance) without in-app privilege escalation.
