Add to upstream Envoy?

This is a pretty cool project! I was wondering if there are plans to add this filter to the upstream Envoy codebase where it'll be actively maintained against the latest API's, dependencies, etc. and make it more accessible to others?

Thank you! While we wrote it so that it can be easily merged to the upstream, we don't yet have plans to merge ourselves. Of course we would be happy to have someone from Envoy's team pick up the glove :)

@yoshpe thank you for the info. I will look at the project you recommended. I also want to know if the Istio Envoy can be modified to integrate Modsecurity. Are you aware of any similar use cases? Thanks
