When an image reaches the bottom of the page (is the last object at the bottom), it is reduced in size so that it fits vertically into the remaining page space.
Expected behavior: The image should wrap to the next page without being resized.
Image rendering behavior changed after version 1.8.

Probably, this is the behavior of the underlaying PyMuPDF library. Try to use Python 3.8 (it has PyMuPDF version 1.24.6).

If you're using Python 3.9 or higher, try manually installing an older version PyMuPDF (starting with 1.25.3).
