Before reporting your issue

  • I have confirmed that this issue does not happen when ExplorerPatcher is not installed
  • I do not have "register as shell extension" enabled
  • I have tried my best to check existing issues

Repro ExplorerPatcher versions

ExplorerPatcher Version 26100.4946.69.6

Repro Windows Versions

Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2 (26200.8246) x86-64 EN-US

3rd party tweak software installed

Windhawk
OpenShell

Describe the bug

  1. Install EP
  2. Enable Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher) taskbar and restart Explorer

Expected outcome

Power menu aligned to the top of the taskbar when showing after pressing Win+X or (shift+)right clicking on the start menu button.

Actual outcome

Power menu aligned to the bottom of the screen, overlapping the taskbar. The same behavior is present when the taskbar is placed on the top of the screen.

Additional info

The issue is prevalent even with OpenShell and/or Windhawk uninstalled.
Changing scaling makes no difference.
