Random files become empty/blank after crash, causing "no launchable activity" error
Describe the bug:
Multiple times during development, files (both .kt and .xml)
became completely blank/empty after the app crashed while
switching between tabs. This caused persistent "no launchable
activity" errors even after builds succeeded with no errors.

To Reproduce:

1. Open multiple file tabs
2. Edit and save files
3. App crashes intermittently
4. Previously saved content in various files is wiped

Expected behavior:
Saved file content should persist even after app crashes.

Additional context:
This matches a similar bug mentioned in older changelogs
("Blank files should not appear anymore... Apologies for
those whose code are wiped with this bug").
