She previously completed a MS degree in Plant Pathology at University of Florida. She has been a PhD student in the GGB program since Fall 2023. She is currently working to infer cis-regulatory networks in *Aspergillus*. Her work also spans comparative genomics at scale, analyzing roughly 6000 fungal genomes to uncover lineage specific rules governing proteome diversity.
