This repo exists to document what we’re building, where it’s headed, and how others can collaborate — without exposing production code or internal systems.
SmartAssess.io is a skills-based assessment platform focused on real competency, not trivia or fluff.
The goal is simple:
- Help learners measure what they actually know
- Help educators and trainers validate understanding
- Keep assessments clean, focused, and meaningful
This repository contains:
- 📘 Project vision and principles
- 🗺️ High-level roadmap and planned features
- 🤝 Contribution guidelines and collaboration notes
It does NOT contain:
- Production source code
- Database schemas or credentials
- Authentication or business logic
Those remain private by design.
- Educators & trainers
- Developers interested in collaboration
- Contributors with ideas around assessment design, UX, or accessibility
- Anyone curious about how SmartAssess is being built
Right now, contributions are focused on:
- Documentation improvements
- Feedback on roadmap and direction
- Suggestions for assessment structure and usability
