No QR code when opening the app

I get to the page where it says I need to scan the QR code "above," but there is no QR code.

The QR code for the pairing does not appear. This happens both with and without a VPN server in Germany. The device runs on Windows 11, using Signal version 27.0.0.45. The problem is relevant for Russia.
