[Bug]: Display stop registrating touch

Bug Description

While beeing on Instagram, the app froze. After that I tried to use the "switch app feature", you know when swiping up from the bottom of the screen, but then the display stopped registrating touch. The only thing that helped was restarting the device by pressing power and volume-up button for 30 seconds.
It happened twice, in like 20 Minutes and I have the essencials app since yesterday.

I don't know how to reproduce the error sadly

Can you share a bug report so we can see if that was caused by a crash of this app or something else with the system? Because I faced this recently but it's on Android beta program tho

Hi @clementistcool ! I personally do not use anything else to force the user out of a locked app than closing that app if they try to re-open, But in your use case, it seem to stop taking user input which is confusing as does not lead to any cause.

As I mentioned before, can you share a bug report which will answer things better? And can you try with any other app that asks for biometrics to see if this also happens in those cases as well? Because I have not gotten any other similar reports in the past for many other Pixel users.

@sameerasw Sorry, it happened another time, even after disabeling biometrics and I didn't copy the bug report. I deleted the app, since it was just a too big inconvinience.
I will download it on another device though and will send you the bug report if it happens there as well.

Reooening the issue cause it closed for some reason
