https://github.com/posit-dev/positron-website doesn't have Issues, so I'm asking here. At the moment (2026-03-03) builds of Positron are able to detect Python interpreters provided by Pixi workspaces (though they are still not found by default if a
./.pixi/directory exists) and if experimental support is enabled in the Positron settings (#3724 (comment)) R interpreters can be found as well. There is no mention of this in the documentation for Discovering Python Installations or for Discovering R Installations. This means that unless one knows where to look on GitHub (e.g. #3724, #11026) this information won't be found by users.
What is needed for Pixi support to be moved out of experimental into the same level of support as conda? What is needed for Pixi support in genral to be documented on https://github.com/posit-dev/positron-website?
