bug: unable to open second window of the same project

I want to have two windows of the same project open. It doesn't seem possible to do so with positron. See the below behavior

Positron decides that if there is one window already open that is what should be opened.

I think this is inherited from VSCode, but there is a "workaround" command:

I am not fully familiar with the caveats of this approach, though. Would this work for you?
