I've gotten an old decomissioned Tuya IR transmitter/receiver S08 with WB3S board and BK7231T.
I've converted it to ESPHome.
Might be usefull to add the config to your supported devices. I've made openbeken run on it but decided to go with esphome since I already had a working IR transmitter/receiver config.

FYI: the bodged resistors and leds are modifications to improve the output
