@reta Sorry! I think there is some confusion. We are yet to relax the rules for creating tags. Till then we can take care of creating tags for you. I understand that opensearch-java needs 3.9.0 tag from main branch.
For other projects do we want to do that now or later?

Thanks @gaiksaya , I think that would be the ask, it will not be sustainable to ask each time to push the specific tag, the release already requires maintainers approval post tag push (no releases will be published until at least one other maintainer or more approves the release), thank you.
