thank you for the great work! It helped reviving my good old IBM keyboard on modern hardware.
I have added a WS2812 LED stripe for underglow effect.
Thanks to qmk, the software part was easy. The hardware part however required (IMHO) advanced soldering skills.
I choose the unused pin A10 for the WS2812 driver (as it it 5V tolerant with a 10K pullup resistor to 5V from usb). This required soldering a wire to that pin , which is in a 1/40" raster.
Modifications like this would be easier if even the unused pins for the original design and purpose would end in a soldering pad a little bigger, e.g. 1/10".
