We restarted conversations on this activity in the SE last week after a temporary pause due to staffing changes. Still floundering over fundamentals:

1. What information is essential to capture? What level of technical specificity is needed? (i.e., Who is the audience?)
2. How do we capture it across the FMC?
3. How and where do we synthesize and report it (e.g., presentation format, where will the information ultimately live)?

The high level ask: What are our existing data systems and how are they interconnected so that we can understand the up/down-stream implications of one system breaking, being updated, etc.?

Dependencies

1. Leadership request for information, due EOY
2. Data Modernization Project, terminating mid-Sep due to funding retractions

Current possibilities

• High level data flow diagram illustrating mission workflows for Leadership
• Accompanying narrative describing lower-level, more technical details for IT
