Upload file does not show the latest file – regardless of which sorting option I choose

Steps to reproduce

1. Take a Photo
2. Open the Android app.
3. Click on “+” to upload a file.
4. Select “Upload file.”
5. Navigate to DCIM -> Camera.
6. I Don't see the newest photo
7. I change the sorting to newest first

Expected behaviour

I see the newest file.

Actual behaviour

I don't see the newest file.

I have the same issue where either the sorting is wrong or thousands of files are missing/not loaded. With "Newest first" in my camera folder, the top entries are from early 2024...

There is a similar issue reported in #15969 where it is even resulting in a crash when changing ordering? Do you also notice a crash?

sometimes I have also a crash, but often i get an authentication loop. see in #16189

Well possible that I missed some...

This issue does not seem to have any priority, even though it makes the file upload feature something between really inconvenient to use to basically useless...

Solved with #15985 will be released via 3.35.0
