[Help] Reviving NetalertX backup from 2025-09-06

Hi there,
I screwed up during a migration awhile back. It looks like my last backups are from 2025-11-09 and 2025-09-06. I haven't had it up and running in awhile and really miss it.

This is my current docker-compose.yaml:

Pretty sure this docker-compose.yaml is incorrect from me trying to do the migration awhile back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Most important pieces I'm hoping to obtain is my devices list, custom svgs attached to devices, network map, and any ntfy notifications I had setup during that time.

Hi,

I would recommend this approach:

1. Install a fresh latest image without your data
2. Use a docker-compose from a template, e.g.: https://docs.netalertx.com/DOCKER_COMPOSE/?h=docker
3. Import your settings and devices via the Maintenance section -> Tools

The most important things is to save your app.conf and devices.csv from the config folder - these contain all the things you want to get back.

DataTables warning: table id=tableDevices - Forbidden when trying to view the devices page. Am I just being impatient and have to wait for things to load?

Pretty sure you're right though it's the columns. This is probably going to be a pain, I'm on a "don't use AI day" so using AI to speed things up won't work for now 😅

Make sure you do not have any other NAX instances running and if so change the GRAPHQL_PORT setting to a unique value.

I'm also not using the arp flux sysctls settings yet. not sure if that matters

Also disable reverse proxies for the time being until the root cause issues are resolved, those might hide other underlying routing issues

No other NAX instances running. I think my reverse proxy isn't interfering the way it's setup.

If I export a "blank" devices.csv and paste the other info I have, just making sure it matches the columns available from my original export, will I still need to fill in blanks?
