A few issues after saving settings (unauthorized calls, UI reload, clock jump, DIG plugin showing)

I’ve noticed a few things happening whenever I use Settings → Save, and I wanted to share them in case it helps.
This happens for me in Edge, Opera and Chrome.

1. Unauthorized API calls after saving
   Each time I click Save, I see an unauthorized request in the logs:

[HTTP] GET /messaging/in-app/unread from 127.0.0.1
[api] Unauthorized access attempt
"GET /messaging/in-app/unread HTTP/1.1" 403 -
These entries line up with the exact times I pressed Save.

From today’s log, I counted 8 occurrences:
17:55:00
17:58:24
17:58:28
18:05:33
18:06:43
18:07:24
18:08:30
18:10:12
Just wanted to share this in case it points to something useful.

2. UI reload + temporary clock jump
   Right after saving:

• the UI reloads
• the clock briefly jumps ahead (usually +1 hour)
• then corrects itself
• then the dashboard reconnects to the server for live updates

This happens consistently across browsers.

3. DIG plugin appears even though it’s not loaded
   My LOADED_PLUGINS list doesn’t include DIGSCAN, but after saving, the UI shows:
   Other scanners → Dig (Name resolution)
   To remove I have to go to the Dig plugin, change to disabled, then press Save.

Happy to provide more logs or steps if needed.

Thanks for the report.

1. Can you open an issue with relevant logs for this?
2. This is more of an annoyance - not high priority for me to fix now. Happy for you or someone else to raise a PR if interested.
3. This should be fixed in the next release - feel free to test the netalertx-dev-unsafe (https://github.com/netalertx/NetAlertX/pkgs/container/netalertx-dev-unsafe) image.

I will open an issue with logs and test the dev‑unsafe image as well.
If the fix in the next release resolves it, I will update/close the issue accordingly.
