Monitor the timing box?

Should NDP be actively monitoring the timing box? Or should HAL do it instead since it already monitors the GPS? The timing box can only be reached from the NDP head node so maybe that's the answer.

It's being monitored but I'm not sure about the reporting.

NDP at NA seems to still be struggling with the "no sync pulse" thing even though the system is working (and was working in the lab).

I hacked in something at North Arm to ignore the sync state. Since it worked in the lab maybe it's a bad sync loopback cable out at the site?
