Automated Related Content Sections

Parent Epic: Dynamic Content & Query Blocks

On single pages for Tours, Destinations, and Accommodations, we should automatically display related content based on shared taxonomies (e.g. Destinations, Travel Style).

Examples:

• Related Tours on a single Tour page.
• Related Accommodations on a Destination page.

This boosts internal linking and user engagement without editors needing to manually select related items.

Scope

• Create logic to query posts sharing at least one taxonomy term with the current post.
• Allow specifying:
  • Which taxonomies to check for relationships.
  • Maximum number of related items.
  • Layout (grid or list).
  • Implement graceful fallback if no related content exists.
• Apply consistent styling per LSX Design System.

Acceptance Criteria

• Related content displays automatically on single posts.
• Styling matches card designs in LSX Design System.
• No duplicate entries if related content appears elsewhere on the page.
• Works for Tours, Destinations, and Accommodations.
• No significant performance hit from dynamic queries.
