Summary

Validate the end state of the coverage programme and document the final results clearly.

Proposed Test Content

This phase covers tasks 6.1 to 6.6 from the source README:

  • rerun repository-wide coverage
  • compare baseline and final coverage
  • document any remaining gap to the 80% target
  • produce the final validation report
  • confirm PR and issue checklists are complete
  • record the closeout and release-readiness notes

Scope & Applicability

  • Type: Validation and reporting
  • Affected Areas: repository-wide coverage runs, final report artefact, issue and PR closeout
  • Audience: maintainers, developers, QA

Acceptance Criteria

  • Final coverage state is measured and documented.
  • Remaining gap, if any, is explicit and justified.
  • Validation report exists and is linked from the programme docs.
  • PR and issue closeout checklists are fully complete.
  • Change is documented in the project change log.
  • PR uses correct branch prefix (docs/).

Additional Context

This phase is the closeout gate for the whole programme and should not be marked done until the PR and issue bodies are aligned.
