Scaling issues if your Desktop is scaled up

Having your Desktop Environment scaled up to 125% does not correspond to your in-game resolution.

If your resolution is 1920x1080, and you scaled the Desktop up to 125%, 1536x864 will be the maximum allowed resolution. Unless you scale it back down in the Configuration settings of your DE.

Tested this on SteamOS (Linux), KDE Plasma.

Though it's almost a year now since they've put in a fix in the 'dev' branch, so the question is why?
