iTerm2

iTerm2 is an excellent drop-in replacement for Apple Terminal, offering a multitude of features.

Installation

  1. Make sure you have installed Homebrew on your system - if not, read the Homebrew guide;

    which brew
  2. Open terminal and run the following command:

    brew install --cask iterm2
  3. Use iTerm2 instead of terminal; update your dock menu accordingly.
