Same Tab group search bug

Following the latest update to the tab logic, attempting to open a group of tabs using the Same Tub parameter results in the adjacent tab being ignored. For example, when initiating a search from tab [A] to a group of three tabs with the Same Tub parameter. Given tabs [A] [B] [C] [D], the outcome is [A URL1] [B] [URL2] [URL3] [C] [D], whereas the expected result is [A URL1] [URL2] [URL3] [B] [C] [D]. Hi, thanks for the detailed report — you’re absolutely right.

The Same Tab option wasn’t designed for group search. It’s intended only for single-URL searches, so using it with multiple tabs leads to the inconsistent behavior you described.

In upcoming updates, this will be addressed in one of the following ways:

Disabling the Same Tab option when performing a group search, or
Implementing proper tab groups (with a name and default color) to handle grouped searches more cleanly
