Why has NONE been removed?

I'm building a simple login form for an Android app.

I want to stop the keyboard from autocapitalising the first character of the username.

Why has 'NONE' been removed from TextCapitalization?

If there is no plan on bringing it back, how do I work around this?

It has been restored in the latest prerelease.
