Мы тут в Яндексе только что прошли курс одного из корифеев машинного обучения - Merhyar Mohri. Его книга "Foundations of Machine Learning" - точно лучшее, что мне приходилось читать в плане глобального теоретического взгляда на ML. Но, конечно, математика сложная.
