Can an Home Assistant be both a main and remote instance?

Reporting my experience as a user, trying to set up two instances each with remote access to the other. In this case, the integration will create a remote entry based on another remote entry. E.g. if your prefixes are pa_ and ri_, you'll get pa_ri_, then ri_pa_ri_, then pa_ri_pa_ri_, etc. until there are tens of thousands of entries. Best to have only one remote instance, with others connecting to it.
