Problem to solve
Currently, users can only join servers through invitations. There is no way to discover public servers within the application.
Proposed solution
Add an "Explore Servers" section where users can browse and discover public communities.
Possible features:
List all public servers
Search servers by name
Filter by category
Display server information (name, description, member count)
Join public servers directly from the explore page
Who benefits and how?
Improves user engagement
Helps new users find communities easily
Makes the platform more similar to modern community applications such as Discord
Scope or acceptance criteria
I would be interested in implementing this feature and can work on both the backend (MERN) and frontend parts if the maintainers approve.
