Idea
Plot the real trajectories of humanity's outbound craft leaving the solar system into the stellar-neighborhood context, plus the messages themselves surfaced as culture-door objects.
- Craft: Voyager 1 & 2, Pioneer 10 & 11, New Horizons — their real escape trajectories and current positions, drawn as polylines crossing from the solar-system context out into the neighborhood field.
- Messages: Golden Record, Arecibo message (as message-objects / culture doors), and ʻOumuamua as the inbound interstellar counterpart. Fiction-over-fact badging per the culture-door pattern (Vega→Contact, Gargantua→Interstellar precedent).
Scope sketch
- Real ephemeris / asymptotic trajectory data → neighborhood-context polylines (build-time normalized JSON under
static/data/universe/, schema-validated + provenance-tracked like the rest of the epic).
- Culture doors for the message artifacts (reuse the existing culture-door object type + i18n overlay pipeline).
- Honest "where is it now / where is it heading / how far has its signal reached" panels — ties naturally to the S7 causality lens.

- Not a mission-ops simulator; not live real-time tracking.
- Not to-scale claims beyond what's honestly labeled.
