• Backend support for actions performed through the onboarding/admin panel

The following actions need to be supported via the website (each will require a backend functionality that needs to be built)

Add a community
Take the community name as the user input and add it to the backend database where the list of communities is stored.
share the success/fail message with the user.

Switch off/on a community
Each community in the database has a status (on/off) field. This function updates that field in the database.

Test a community
Clicking on the test button triggers the test script (created in task #2 ) for that particular community.

• Backend logic for computing subreddit level statistics

The following statistics need to be computed in the backend. These statistics will be displayed on the admin/onboarding panel.

• no. of appeals received
  

• Ban appeals responded to
  

• Ban appeals completed by users
  

• Ban appeals handed over to the mods
  

• ban appeals accepted
  

• last appeal submitted (timestamp)
  

To get these statistics, you should refer to the user-logs collection on MongoDB. The collection currently maintains the list of all users who have appealed, as well as the status of their appeal.

A ban appeal is considered responded to if the form is shared with the user (form_shared field in the document)
A ban appeal is considered complete if the form is filled by the user (form_filled field)
A ban appeal is handed over if the note is shared with the moderators (note_shared field)

Each of the statistic should be computed separately for each subreddit
