Why is this a false positive?

Serveo.net is a tunnelling service similar to Ngrok or Cloudflare Tunnel which allows users to expose their locally self-hosted web services to the public internet.

Instead of blocking Serveo completely, abuse should be reported to abuse@serveo.net, as stated at https://serveo.net/abuse.

Serveo had been unbanned in the past already (#1178) but was banned again later.

Impact description

• I cannot expose my own self-hosted service to the public internet, because my local server resolves serveo.net through a DNS server that has subscribed to the abuse blocklist. Thus, I need to find a different DNS service that filters ads and tracking, but doesn't block Serveo.
• Visitors that have subscribed to the abuse blocklist cannot visit my exposed website because its CNAME points at serveo.net.
