Meanwhile I modified the source code in order to bypass some initial checking but I resulted in not being able to "ping" the motor. The hardware setup is definitely correct as I am able to control the motor from a windows program or dynamixel wizard. Is it possible that the driver is designed to run in 32bit OS (i'm using 64 bit machine)?
