batocera-sm8550-43.1-20260529.img
Your architecture
Odin 2 max snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Your Graphic Processor Unit(s) (GPU)
Adreno 740
Issue description
Hardware
• AYN Odin 2 Pro
• Snapdragon SM8550
• Android 13
• Batocera 43.1
• Official SM8550 ABL successfully installed
Description
The Sinden Lightgun is detected by Batocera, but its camera does not appear to initialize.
Symptoms:
• Batocera detects the Sinden USB device.
• The gun buttons are detected.
• The crosshair remains permanently stuck in the upper-left corner.
• Moving the gun does not move the crosshair.
Detailed reproduction steps
Details of any attempts to fix this yourself
I tested:
• Official Odin 2 Dock
• Direct USB-C to USB-A adapter
• Same result in both cases.
Additionally, on this same installation I have observed:
• SMB shares unavailable (ping works but SMB does not respond).
• SSH connection times out.
• File Manager sometimes causes a black screen.
• Boot is now stable after several successful boots.
Could this be related to missing UVC/video support or another SM8550-specific issue?
I would be happy to provide logs or test experimental builds if needed.
Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.
