vivado 2025.2 support

Not sure what it implies, but there is a new release 20th November 2025, since it's a minor version, would it work out of the box after editing supported_vivado_versions.txt and hdk_setup.sh ?

Sorry to chime in here, we would also like to see Vivado 2025.2 support in the aws-fpga HDK.

In our use case, we rely heavily on Xilinx-licensed IP (O-RAN, MicroBlaze-V, Media, etc.). These IPs are only shipped with Vivado, and we are frequently instructed by Xilinx to upgrade Vivado to the latest release to receive bug fixes or feature updates. This makes it difficult to maintain a parallel, older Vivado toolchain solely for AWS builds.

It would be very helpful if future HDK releases could track current Vivado versions, or at least provide a clear upgrade timeline, so we can plan our flows accordingly.

Thank you for your feedback. The HDK team follows all Vivado releases closely. When a new Vivado version becomes available, the team needs time to thoroughly test it to prevent any regressions. We are currently working on the Vivado 2025.2 update and expect to release support soon. Please stay tuned for updates.

Also, page https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-evssv7ysyt6h4 would need an update, it currently shows "Access Vivado 2024.2 ML development environments from anywhere", but you seem to have 2025.1 and hopefully soon 2025.2.

The AMI you've linked above happens to be published by AMD, not the AWS FPGA Team.

If you're looking for a fully-featured 2025.1 FPGA Developer AMI to use while we're working on 2025.2, I recommend you use one of ours we list in the User Guide.
