License status of the project

I appreciate the time and effort you put into this project. It works flawlessly in my system, and I love how sleek the codebase is.

I'm looking forward to integrating this project's functionality into one of the apps I am currently developing. However, GitHub's open source software (OSS) guide states that I am not allowed to use this project's source code, even though it can be readily downloaded. That is because this repository is not licensed under any OSS license (GPL, MIT, Apache, and the like), which implies I cannot distribute this software without the author's (@abdelfetah18) explicit permission.

I would like to suggest that this repository be licensed under any open source license of your liking, so that it can benefit more people in the future. Alternatively, I kindly request that you provide a step-by-step procedure in order to obtain your permission to distribute this program.

Hi, thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your thoughts and suggestions.

I'm glad to hear the project works well for you and that you're interested in integrating it into your application. That means a lot.

Just to clarify, this project was originally created as a learning exercise, and not intended for production use. It's currently not maintained, and during a recent review, I found some memory-related bugs and other issues. It also lacks proper testing, which makes it unreliable in its current state.

I may come back to it in the future to refactor and improve the codebase. If I do, I’ll make sure to include a proper open source license at that time.
