Steam Deck sleep/wake bug

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.

Context:
I updated my deck, I placed my steam deck in battery storage mode, I installed the gulikit hall effect joysticks, locked everything back up. I was expecting it to boot right back up but it took 8 hours to restore (I tried clearing the CMOS several times [vol up + "..."]).

I then tried booting up the a game, which worked just like normal, I then pressed the power button in game cus I needed a drink.

expected: the deck to remain asleep like normal.
what_happened: it woke up with a beep not even two seconds after, the same issue persist when using the power options on game mode, also the same issue when in desktop mode using the start menu option and power button.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. tap the power button while playing (or not) in either game mode or desktop mode.

What I've tried:

• Installing a fresh version of SteamOS.
• Installing an older version of SteamOS (this automatically updates to the latest version without any prompts).
• Switching SSDs and reinstalling an older version of SteamOS then updating (same as prior).
• CMOS and BIOS reset before and after reinstalling SteamOS.
